Elm Hill Music

WELCOME TO ELM HILL MUSIC! Music is a great avenue for team building, creative thinking, artistic expression, critical thinking, and problem solving! We are learning to sing alone and with others. We are learning to play instruments alone and with others. We are learning audiation, which means to hear music in our heads or use inner hearing. We are learning what elements of music sounds like from other places around the world. We are learning to analyze music and to describe music. We are learning if music is the same or different. We are learning to compose and arrange music. We are learning to read music and notate music. We are learning to evaluate music. We sing, dance, play instruments, and express music to convey meaning and to communicate. We incorporate the art of communication through speaking, writing, and listening to learn music.
